Eligible jewellery purchased from Eyora Jewels' retail partners may come with complimentary jewellery insurance for one year, subject to eligibility and issuance of a valid Certificate of Insurance through OLocker.
The complimentary insurance benefit is valid for one year, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable insurance policy and the Certificate of Insurance.
The insurance benefit is provided through OLocker, Eyora Jewels' third-party partner, under the applicable insurance programme arranged with Bajaj General Insurance Co. Ltd. or another reputed insurance provider, as applicable.
No. The insurance benefit is available only to eligible purchases for which a valid Certificate of Insurance has been generated through OLocker.
Your jewellery is covered only if it is specifically mentioned in your Certificate of Insurance issued through OLocker. We recommend checking the Certificate carefully and retaining it along with your original purchase invoice.
You should safely retain: Original jewellery purchase invoice Certificate of Insurance Valid KYC/identity documents These documents may be required during the claim process.
KYC documentation may not be required when the insurance benefit is initially generated. However, KYC will be required at the time of making a claim for verification of the insured/beneficiary.
KYC may include: Aadhaar Card PAN Card Passport Driving Licence Other valid government-issued identification documents accepted by the Insurer.
Yes. The name appearing on the sales invoice and Certificate of Insurance should exactly match your valid KYC documentation. Any discrepancy may result in additional verification and may affect claim processing.
Subject to the applicable insurance policy, insured jewellery may be covered against specified events including: Fire Lightning Storm Cyclone Hurricane Flood Earthquake Riot Strike Political violence Non-political violence Burglary/housebreaking Theft Snatching Robbery Dacoity Accidental external physical damage Coverage is always subject to the applicable policy terms and exclusions.
Yes. Theft, snatching, robbery and dacoity may be covered, subject to the applicable insurance policy and its conditions.
Burglary/housebreaking may be covered where there is violent and forcible entry into or exit from the premises, subject to the applicable policy conditions.
Accidental external physical damage may be covered, subject to the applicable insurance policy and claim assessment.
Specified natural events such as fire, lightning, storm, cyclone, hurricane, flood and earthquake may be covered, subject to the applicable policy terms.
The applicable programme may cover loss arising from riot, strike, political violence and non-political violence, subject to the policy conditions and exclusions.
Subject to the applicable policy terms, coverage may remain effective while travelling within India or internationally when travelling as a tourist/on a tourist visa and not as a resident of another country.
Jewellery may remain covered while in transit when carried as personally accompanied baggage by the insured, subject to the applicable policy terms.
You are expected to exercise utmost care and reasonable precautions, particularly during: Overnight journeys Long-distance travel Transit Public transportation Hotel stays
No. Loose diamonds are not covered under the programme described in these Terms & Conditions.
No. Loose coloured and semi-precious stones are not covered.
No. Only jewellery/articles specifically mentioned in the Certificate of Insurance are covered.
No. Mysterious or unexplained disappearance, misplacement and unexplained loss are excluded from coverage. For example, jewellery falling or disappearing without an identifiable covered incident may not be covered.
No. Loss arising while jewellery is left unattended is excluded, subject to the applicable policy terms.
No. Jewellery lost from an unattended vehicle is excluded, whether the vehicle was locked or unlocked.
No. Normal wear and tear is excluded from coverage.
No. Loss arising from manufacturing/product defects is excluded. Examples may include: Diamond falling because of loose prongs Earrings falling because of loose hooks or fittings Chains falling because of loose clasps or patches Similar product-related defects
Loss resulting from the gross negligence of the insured, their agents or authorised persons is excluded, subject to the applicable policy terms.
Loss arising from confiscation, detention or seizure by government/public authorities is excluded, subject to the applicable policy.
No. Loss arising from war or war-like situations and acts of an enemy nation is excluded.
No. Loss arising from nuclear radiation is excluded.
Coverage may include the insured individual and their immediate family members, subject to the applicable policy. Immediate family may include: Spouse Parents Siblings Lineal descendants Daughter-in-law For a married female insured, coverage may also extend to the immediate family of her husband, subject to the applicable policy terms.
Where the purchaser is an HUF, company, partnership, firm or other non-individual entity, coverage is restricted to the director, partner, member or owner whose name is specifically mentioned in the sales invoice and Certificate of Insurance, as applicable.
Subject to approval and settlement by the Insurer, the claim proceeds are credited to the bank account of the customer/insured whose name appears on the Certificate of Insurance.
The claim amount is determined by the Insurer based on the applicable policy, Certificate of Insurance, valuation, supporting documents and claim assessment. Different components of the jewellery may be assessed differently.
For the precious metal component, the lower of the applicable market/replacement value or the value stated on the original invoice is considered for settlement, subject to the applicable policy.
The settlement value is generally based on the value stated in the original invoice, subject to the applicable policy terms.
Making charges may be payable up to a maximum of 10% of the value of the metal and stones, subject to the applicable policy terms.
For a covered damage claim, the amount payable generally corresponds to the reasonable cost required to restore the jewellery to its original form. The Insurer may request a repair estimate, quotation or estimate letter from Eyora Jewels or the relevant jewellery retailer.
Yes. Claims are subject to an excess of 5% of the derived claim value, as applicable under the policy.
For theft, housebreaking or similar covered events, the Insurer may initially settle approximately 75%--85% of the assessed claim amount. The remaining amount may be payable after submission and acceptance of the required Final Report or other required documentation, subject to the policy.

You should notify OLocker and the police within 48 hours of the occurrence of the loss, wherever applicable. We strongly recommend reporting any incident as soon as it is discovered.
The applicable programme specifies that failure to discover the loss/damage within 14 days of its occurrence may result in denial of the claim. You should therefore report any potential claim as quickly as possible.
An FIR may be required where applicable, depending on the nature of the incident and the requirements of the Insurer. Additional police documentation may also be requested.

Photographs, estimates, reports or other supporting evidence, where required The Insurer, OLocker or surveyor may request additional documents.
OLocker, the Insurer and/or the appointed surveyor is generally expected to approach the customer within 24--48 hours for further processing.
Claims are typically expected to be settled within approximately 30--60 days, subject to documentation, verification, survey/assessment, police documentation, Final Report requirements and compliance with the policy conditions.
In certain theft, burglary or similar claims, the Insurer may require a Final Report from the relevant authorities before releasing the final claim amount.
Yes. Depending on the circumstances of the claim, the Insurer, OLocker or surveyor may request additional documents, evidence, reports, estimates or information necessary to assess the claim.
Depending on the claim, you may be required to execute documents such as: Subrogation Letter Letter of Indemnity Discharge Voucher Other documents reasonably required by the Insurer
No. The Insurer determines the final claim amount based on the applicable insurance policy, Certificate of Insurance, valuation, supporting documents and claim assessment. Eyora Jewels does not independently determine or guarantee the claim amount.
No. The complimentary insurance benefit does not guarantee claim payment. A claim is payable only if the jewellery is covered, the incident is an insured event, applicable exclusions do not apply, policy conditions have been complied with, required documentation is provided and the Insurer approves the claim.
You should carefully check your Certificate of Insurance when you receive it. If any material information is incorrect, you should promptly notify the relevant parties for correction or clarification.
In case of any inconsistency, the terms of the applicable insurance policy and the Certificate of Insurance shall prevail over the website Terms & Conditions.
Yes. The terms, conditions, exclusions, coverage limits and claim procedures of the insurance programme may be revised by the Insurer from time to time. Any applicable changes will operate in accordance with the relevant insurance programme and policy terms.
No. Eyora Jewels does not guarantee claim approval or settlement. Claims are assessed and settled by the Insurer in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and Certificate of Insurance.
